There is no obligation to fill in this response sheet and if you do, your identity will be hidden.
There are many reasons why you may not feel that lighting a candle is an appropriate thing for you personally, but you may be very much in sympathy with our aims and want to show some solidarity. By responding to these commitments one by one, it will enable you to take a moment to reflect and consider the level of your participation.
It will also give us vital information about how participation is increasing.

I will light a candle every Sunday evening until the three demands are met

The demands are:
1. Keep the global temperature rise below 1.5 °C compared to pre-industrial levels.
2. Ensure climate justice and equity.
3. Listen to the best united science currently available.

I will do all within my means to educate myself and others about the nature of the problems we face and the potential solutions.

According to my situation and means, I will do all I can within my local community and wider networks to advocate for significant beneficial changes of policy and practice.

In local and national elections, I will vote only for candidates who make a firm commitment to working to fulfill our demands.
